What are you doing this Mandela Day?

As this MISA eDATA reaches your inbox, we are on the eve of Mandela Day. Although not a public holiday, this day gives everyone in our country an opportunity to make a difference in someone else’s life by spending 67 minutes helping others in a way outside or your normal call of duty. Have you thought what you are going to do for Mandela Day this year?

In this issue we bring news on the MISA delegation’s participation in the International Trade Union Confederation’s (ITUC) third annual World Congress in Berlin and also take a look at the issue of retrenchment.

The MISA Regional AGMs are coming up soon, so please be sure to make a note of these important dates. And last, but not least, the MISA Women’s Forum August Day Breakfasts are also around the corner. There are a few limited seats still up for grabs, so be sure to RSVP today, if you haven’t already done so.

All the best until next time,

Martlé Keyter, CEO Operations
Motor Industry Staff Association (MISA)
