Celebrating Women’s Month

As August marks National Women’s Month in South Africa, this issue of the MISA eDATA has a slight female bias, with apologies to our much-valued male members, colleagues and partners.

We look at why women make better bosses, some common mistakes women make at work that sabotage their careers, and look at some global businesses that were started by women. We also include a topical article on Government’s proposed retirement reforms and look at your not so average POPI…

August was a busy month at MISA, as we had our Regional AMGs as well as our Women’s Forum August Day breakfasts in each of our Regions. For those members that attended, thank you for taking the time – we do appreciate it and enjoy interacting with you. If you didn’t make it to one of our events this year, we hope you will be able to do so next year! And do visit our website to view some of the photos and our list of sponsors.

Enjoy this issue, and all the best until next time,

Martlé Keyter, CEO Operations
Motor Industry Staff Association (MISA)
